Comprised of an award-winning DJ, Jr Flo, Matisse on keys and Adam Tune on drums, Keys N Krates rocked our world last year when they played the Taste Crew/URB Holiday party in NYC. One year later, and these guys from Toronto are taking their show across the U.S., including two SoCal dates this weekend. (URB)
I saw Jr Flo ten years ago kill it playing hip hop and drum n bass when I lived in Ottawa. Now with the live instruments brought into what seems to be a 30 minute explosion of nothing you have ever seen. These guys kill it on a whole other level, which I got to experience last year in Winnipeg. My good friend Ofield from Grand Analog opened up for them and if wasn't for him I probably wouldn't have been able to experience their live show. The only thing is that when it ends you wish it wasn't so short.
