Wu - Tang vs. The Beatles

After being gone for so long I have just been getting back into the swing of things and getting into blogging my peeps with some good music. This album is going to be something you play all of 2010. It's relaxing, gangsta and if you are with a woman probably make her pregnant just by listening to it. Ol Dirty singing Love Me Do for just a snippet is amazing as well as his Got Your Money.

So two of my favorite people hooked up and made some sweet, sweet music together in MIA and Rusko. The fact that Rusko didn't make a dubstep track surprised me but the end result is still really easy to listen to.

It seems like the production is signed by Rusko. Aside from this, the most of the production duties on the new album will come from BlaqStarr and of course, some from Diplo & Switch.

In between pwning the internets by posting that MIA track yesterday (above) like one second after she Twitted it, we were on our investigative grind. We emailed MIA’s publicist, who got us the scoop: It’s a protest song against the New York Times, which printed a questionable bit on how Sri Lanka is now the best place to travel in 2010. Peep MIA’s Twitter for the full back story. “Space Odyssey” should be on her forthcoming album, which is set to drop this summer (potentially June). Get pumped.

According to MIA’s publicist:

It is called ‘Space Odyssey” produced by Rusko and M.I.A. The song and video were made Monday night for $100, after the New York Times, as she says: “fucked up so hard.”
Check her tweets – she obviously finds it reckless and ignorant of the paper to not even scratch their own walls on what is reality in Sri Lanka.
