Toronto

Toronto Bands, Times Neue Roman and Tonka Puma have been making songs together for the past few weeks. Yesterday we recorded "TORONTO, " a song inspired by pool-hopping, humid thunderstorms, house parties and the garbage strike. We thought we'd share the in-progress demo with you Ontario kids. Summertime, Toronto.

Rock The Bells

I went to Rock The Bells here in Vancouver at Deer Lake Park and have mixed feelings about it. To have an actual Hip Hop festival right here in Vancouver is a great step for the city and I am very grateful for it. The beginning of the line up totally killed it Red 1, Chali 2 Na and Slum Village . Slum Village went on stage even after they found out another one of their group had passed on Baatin.

As for the rest of the show my mother always said if I don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. But I will say this, if Slaughterhouse is suppose to be this super group why did they cover a whole bunch of other peoples tracks.
